Every shirt we carry online runs S through XXL. The table below is standard U.S. men's sizing, measured on the body — it tells you which size to start from if you know your chest and neck.
These are body measurements, not garment measurements. We have not published the finished measurements of each individual shirt yet, so if you are between sizes, or you want the exact chest and length of one particular shirt, call the shop on (706) 878-2734 or email support@brencrate.com. Someone standing next to the rack will measure it and tell you.
| Size | Chest | Neck | Sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 35–37 in | 14–14½ in | 32–33 in |
| M | 38–40 in | 15–15½ in | 33–34 in |
| L | 41–43 in | 16–16½ in | 34–35 in |
| XL | 44–46 in | 17–17½ in | 35–36 in |
| XXL | 47–49 in | 18–18½ in | 36–37 in |
How to measure yourself
Chest. Run the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep it level and breathe normally — do not pull it tight.
Neck. Measure around the base of the neck, where a collar sits, and add half an inch so you can fasten the top snap comfortably.
Sleeve. From the centre of the back of your neck, across the shoulder, down the outside of a slightly bent arm to the wrist bone.
The more reliable way: measure a shirt you already own
Sizing varies between makers, so the surest method is to compare against a shirt of your own that fits the way you want this one to.
Lay it flat and buttoned. Measure straight across from armpit seam to armpit seam, then double it — that is the shirt's chest measurement. Measure from the base of the collar down to the hem for the length. Call or email us those two numbers and we will tell you which size matches, or tell you honestly if none of them does.
Fit notes
The shirts we carry are cut as regular-fit western shirts, meant to be worn untucked over a straight hem. If you are between two sizes on the chest, most people are happier in the larger one — a pearl snap front pulls across the chest before it pulls anywhere else.
If it does not fit
You may return an item within 30 days of the delivery date, unworn and unwashed with the original tags attached. There is no restocking fee on any return. If you are returning because the size was not right, you pay the return shipping; if the item is defective, damaged, or not what you ordered, we pay it. The full terms are in our refund policy.
